The management of patients with venous thromboembolism (VTE) has become a central focus in clinical medicine. Emerging endovascular and medical treatments, large scale clinical trials in the field, and the proliferation of multidisciplinary efforts to manage patients highlight the need for a comprehensive VTE educational experience. Advanced Therapies in Venous Interventions, or ACTiVE, is the Society of Interventional Radiology’s dedicated VTE learning opportunity; designed to meet educational needs in this space head-on, this meeting will foster current, evidence-based approaches to interventional and medical management of VTE patients.
