Interventional radiology is a rapidly growing field defined by research, innovation and cutting-edge technology. The 8-week SIR-RFS ITROP 2023 educational program is an excellent opportunity for medical students and residents to learn the foundations of quality medical research from expert faculty within the specialty. ITROP 2023 is a joint collaboration between the RFS, SIR and SIR Foundation.

The ITROP program covers 8 research topics, one each week with live webinar sessions held on Tuesdays from 7-8 pm ET (see schedule below). The program also include pre-session reading materials and pre-and post-session tests.    

Program Details

• Targeted audience: Medical students, residents-in-training, and anyone interested in learning the foundations of medical research.
• Registration: Free for SIR members (join SIR here), $100 for non-members.
• Course access: After registration, all webinar registration links, pre-session reading materials, and pre-and post tests are accessed in your SIR Learning Center Account.
• Certificate: Participants who attend at least three of the four live sessions and complete all module requirements will receive a downloadable ITROP 2023 certificate of completion from SIR.
