This month’s journal-based CME article is titled " Prevalence of and Factors Associated with Arterial Aneurysms in Patients with Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia:17-Year Retrospective Series of 418 Patients".This is a single center retrospective cross-sectional evaluation of patients diagnosed with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) by the Curaçao criteria or by positive genetic testing. The authors then evaluated for the presence of arterial aneurysms.
This program is designed to meet the educational needs of interventional radiologists, nurses, techs, and trainees at all levels with special interest in management of patients with HHT. To receive CME credit for this journal-based CME activity, participants must read the journal article and score 75% or better on the post test. Participants will have three opportunities to score 75% or better.
Learning Objectives
After participating in this journal-based CME activity, learners should be able to:
- Discuss frequency of aneurysms in patients with HHT.
- Describe the most common location of observed aneurysms.
- Understand risk factors associated with presence of an aneurysm.
