This month’s journal-based CME article is titled "Utilization and Comparative Effectiveness of Uterine Artery Embolization vs. Hysterectomy for Severe Postpartum Hemorrhage: A National Inpatient Sample Study". This is a population-based cohort study over a 12 year period to evaluate the incidence and management of severe post-partum hemorrhage (PPH). Specifically, the authors also evaluated sociodemographic and clinical determinants that led to various therapies.
This program is designed to meet the educational needs of interventional radiologists, nurses, techs, and trainees at all levels with special interest in treatment of patients with severe PPH.To receive CME credit for this journal-based CME activity, participants must read the journal article and score 75% or better on the post test. Participants will have three opportunities to score 75% or better.
