Course Description:
This course will provide the attendee with an excellent opportunity to network with practicing Interventional Radiologists from both academic & private practice settings, and device representatives from numerous industry partners.
Target Audience:
This course is designed for current Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellows. This course is also open to a limited number of SIR members, including 4th year residents and early career IRs.
Program Directors of current APDIR programs are eligible to designate one fellow from each program who will receive a discounted registration rate and complimentary hotel accommodations. Additional fellows from those programs are welcome to attend with the standard registration rates.
Objectives:

Discuss the broad spectrum of modern IR practice from the medical management of PAD patients to appropriate evaluation and treatment of Interventional Oncology patients

Explain how to set up and maintain an IR clinic and manage competition

Discuss latest data with regards to endovascular management of pulmonary embolus, chronic and acute DVT, limb salvage, and EVAR.
