For individuals currently enrolled in medical school who have a special interest in interventional radiology.  This category also pertains to individuals who have not yet begun their formal radiologic training as a resident in a radiology residency training program.

Training (Scientist)

The Training category shall include the following persons currently enrolled in formal training: either a resident or fellow in vascular and interventional radiology; a resident in a radiology residency training program; a student enrolled in medical school or in their first year of post-graduate medical education; or a graduate student or post- doctoral student who has an interest in interventional radiology research. Time-limit restrictions shall be placed on the number of years an individual may be a Member-in-training.

 

Scientist-in-Training applicants are required to provide:

  • Proof of current enrollment in formal training listed above
  • Letter of recommendation from current program director
  • Curriculum Vitae

Resident- IR Integrated Member

For residents of an Integrated Interventional Radiology residency program.

Applicants must submit one letter of recommendation from their current program director OR two letters of recommendation from current SIR Active Members.

 For residents of a Diagnostic Radiology residency program.
